Volt is immediately hiring Engineering Technician in Palm Bay, FLJob Description:Production floor in various buildings on campusProduction floor work some bench work, moving between building and using test systems. Use of overhead rigging Minimum Requirement:Cable and harness installation, routing and cable management, cable mate/demate experienceMechanical assembly and test of hardware including ESD sensitive hardwareHardware integrationRigging/overhead crane,Preparation for and conducting system level hardware testing (deployments, environments testing, etc.).Performing system level alignments to meet system requirementsField support for launch vehicle integration only during a one week timeframe at the end of the year.Occasional repetitive movements during specified durations.Manual dexterity, motor skills and situational awareness to handle and manufacture space hardware.Cable routing and wire harnessBasic computer skills Preferred skills:Experience using torque driver, power supply;Small hand tools.Mixing and applying adhesives This is a 09 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity. Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.
