Reports to: Sales Manager

Position Summary: The Salesperson holds the responsibility for selling vehicles according to profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Maintaining a professional image is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer vehicle requirements through effective questioning and attentive listening.
  • Showcase vehicles, including test drives.
  • Introduce new customers to Service facilities and staff appropriately.
  • Hand over vehicles to customers, ensuring they grasp the vehicle's features, warranty, and maintenance schedule to build customer loyalty.
  • Maintain a follow-up system to boost repeat and referral business and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on new products, features, accessories, etc., and their advantages to customers.
  • Discuss monthly goals, weekly tasks, and daily planned activities with the Sales Manager.
  • Be familiar with automotive industry terminology, stay abreast of technological advancements in products, and effectively communicate with customers.
  • Promptly report any vehicle lot damage or issues to the Sales Manager.
  • Have knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing retail auto sales.
  • Complete all required training as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
