Job Summary:


As the Automotive Service Manager at our lower Fairfield county dealership, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the service department.

This includes ensuring high-quality customer service, efficient operation of the service department, and achieving financial targets through effective team management.

You will be leading a team of service technicians and advisors, and collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless and exceptional service experience for our customers.


Compensation & Benefits:


This is a full-time role with a base salary of $120,000 to $160,000 per year, in addition to commission based on performance.

The salary will be paid biweekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and customer service.
  • Hire, train, and supervise service technicians and advisors, ensuring a highly skilled and efficient team.
  • Monitor and analyze department performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, finance, and parts to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience for customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Stay updated on automotive industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve service operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in a managerial role in the automotive service industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems and automotive software.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive technical and mechanical processes.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
