Job Description: Engineering Project Manager at Vectrus

This position involves managing engineering projects with different security levels for a government program office at Vectrus, an innovative company focused on providing smart solutions for both physical and digital infrastructure challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
  • Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Perform functions such as system integration configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management using engineering experience.
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: BS in a relevant Engineering/ Science field from an accredited University.
  • 6 years of experience in a relevant Engineering/ Science field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts across all phases of product development.
  • Technical depth and breadth in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience with DoD Acquisition Programs and providing program, systems engineering, and acquisition support.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic security environment.
  • Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
