Job Description:

This is a position for drivers at Salvador Logistics LLC, delivering XL packages for Amazon.

We are seeking reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve various situations, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are active, enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being on the road driving, prioritize safety, and prioritize customer expectations and satisfaction.

We are looking for team players who aim to grow with the Company.

  • Military veterans are welcome.
  • Have or be willing to obtain a DOT Medical card. Supervisory roles may be available as we expand.

Benefits & Scheduling:

  • 20+ hours paid weekly.
  • Typical 10-hour shifts.
  • Typical 4 or 5-day workweek (40 hours).
  • Team Members' schedule is rotational for more personal time; every other weekend off.
  • Minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break during the shift.
  • Opportunity for performance incentives, bonuses, and comprehensive medical coverage.
  • Paid time off begins accruing immediately upon employment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Successfully handle and deliver 30-60 XL packages promptly.
  • Safely drive, perform safety inspections on the Company vehicle, and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service irrespective of challenges.
  • Adapt to the physically demanding nature of the job, work in all weather conditions, and communicate effectively.
  • Use a smart phone device for various tasks including GPS Navigation and package scanning.
  • Pack and unload packages weighing up to 300 lbs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening.
  • Maintain a clean motor vehicle report.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Equipment Provided:

  • Delivery Vehicle & Gas.
  • Handheld technology.
  • Uniforms.
  • Other safety and administrative gear required for the job.

Hiring Process: Approximately 1-2 weeks to complete. Longer duration for out-of-state driver's license holders.
