**What youll do:**

The primary responsibilities of this role include leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management Systems at the site. You will also drive Continuous Improvement initiatives through the implementation and utilization of Lean Six Sigma tools. Day to day activities include:

+ **Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS)** Manage in compliance with international quality and industry standards including ISO9001, UL, CSA, etc. Maintain, upgrade, and control quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Lead process system development projects.

+ **Audits** Serve as point of contact between plant and 3rd party auditors, coordinating and execution of audit. Develop internal audit schedule and complete audits per plan.

+ **Continuous Improvement** Lead projects that focus on process improvements, capital investments, cost savings, machine optimizations, and engineering modifications to improve quality and productivity.

+ **Quality Monitoring** Manage quality notifications. Respond to internal and external nonconformance, including containment, effective root causing, preventive/corrective actions and internal/external supplier communication. Develop and track KPIs to assess performance gaps.

+ **Material Review Board** Perform Material Review Board activities, including scrap material processing

+ **Training** Compile and generate training material and conduct training sessions on quality activities

The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, control charts, Pareto charts, etc. Additionally, proven leadership capability and excellent communication skills are to being successful in this role. We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team.

**Qualifications:**

**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution

+ Minimum two (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment supporting ISO Quality Management Systems

+ Must be able to work legally in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or within the future

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

+ Previous experience in manufacturing process design and development

+ Previous quality management system(s) implementation experience

+ Knowledge of the metal stamping process, including quality characteristics and challenges

+ Certification by the American Society for Quality as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer
