Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and execute structural projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for concurrent projects.
  • Manage heavy civil projects (e.g., dams, floodwalls, water treatment facilities) and architectural projects (low to mid-rise commercial, educational, and industrial buildings).
  • Support landscape architectural designs.
Project Management:
  • Lead project teams, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinate project activities, including construction administration and quality control.
  • Apply project management best practices to achieve project goals.
Client Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients (both internal and external).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
Staff Development:
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages growth and knowledge sharing.
Education (Minimum) - B.S. degree in Engineering.

Registration - Professional Engineer.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required).
    • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering (preferred).
  • Licensure:
    • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 6 years of structural design experience.
    • Project Management experience and/or experience on federal projects is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
