As a Structural Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety, integrity, and resilience of nuclear facilities.

You'll work on a challenging project that demand your expertise in designing, evaluating, and optimizing structures that can withstand extreme conditions, and rigorous safety standards.

All work for this position will be performed on-site in Greenville, SC or Houston, TX. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects
Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design
Conduct construction document reviews as required

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects
Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities
Familiarity with CAD applications
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design
Nuclear experience is highly desired
Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
Department of Energy requires all people working on theprojectto be a US Citizen
This position pays $65 - $85/hr. As required by applicable pay transparency laws, iParametrics provides a range of compensation for these roles.

Your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including:
specific skills, level of experience, geographic location or other relevant factors.
