Industrial Maintenance Technician | 3rd Shift 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday

Total pay includes base pay and a 3rd shift premium of $4/hr. The base salary for this role may vary depending on experience.

Industrial Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift, comes with a sign-on bonus of $3,000.

Function: Responsible for maintaining existing machinery and the building.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect equipment and operating systems and take necessary corrective actions.
  • Plan and perform PM on all machines.
  • Inspect production processes and suggest ways to enhance efficiency.
  • Select, order, and procure materials for projects.
  • Organize repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
  • Identify sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using measuring instruments.
  • Replace defective parts by disassembling devices, using tools, and examining part form and texture.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
  • Conduct training sessions on safety, forklift operation, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with management, production, and brewery team members, discussing current and future projects, and collaborating to resolve issues.
  • Keep detailed records of completed work.
  • Participate in after-hours emergency response when needed.
  • Work in accordance with safety regulations under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Follow all PPE and GMP requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to acquire new skills to achieve self-sufficiency.
  • Ability and willingness to build positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Skill in collecting and effectively communicating information verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 75lbs and occasionally push up to 175lbs.
  • Flexibility with work hours.
  • Adherence to all PPE and GMP guidelines.
  • Maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized work space.

Required experience and skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and machinery.
  • Knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in sanitary welding is a plus.
  • Salary: $30 per hour + $4 per hour shift differential
