Immediate hire for a Temp Handyman

A full time staff is available by the end of the year

Responsibilities:

General Maintenance:
perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing appliances, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems to ensure that all units are in excellent condition

Carpentry and Repairs: Conduct various carpentry works, including installing or repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and drywall, as needed
:

Painting: Ensure the interior and exterior of buildings are well-maintained by performing painting and touch-up work to keep them looking clean and appealing
:

-
Grounds maintenance: Take care of the grounds by performing landscaping, mowing and snow removal tasks as required
:

Safety and Security: Regularly inspect and maintain security systems and fire safety equipment to ensure the safety of our residents
:

Tenants Requests:
Address maintenance requests from residents promptly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met
:

Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, as well as inventory of supplies and equipment
:

-


Cost Management:
Assist in the management of maintenance and repair budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are prioritized.

Qualifications:

-
Proven experience as a handyman or similar role:

-
Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair work, including carpentry, plumbing and electrical
:

-
Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively
:

-
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
:

-
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs, and walk the grounds.

English speaker who is computer literate.

Professional, courteous, neat, and presentable
