This position owns the execution of Work Transfer project goals and plans across several Avionics production sites. This senior professional develops project plans and manages budgets, identifies problems and recommends solutions, documenting project delays, performing critical path analysis, and presents progress reports for Work Transfer projects in accordance with documented standards and processes. This is an individual contributor role.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects under his/her responsibility and suggest appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget.
  • Document and record delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule.
  • Develop project budget and scope and pursues all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.
  • Perform critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Conduct meetings, consolidate and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).
  • Identify and react to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Oversee and manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects, and liaise between project management and planning, project team, quality, and line management.
  • Review status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Regularly interacts and interfaces with customers.
  • May have business development responsibilities.
  • Recommend and implement improvement to existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • Understanding of manufacturing and operations processes.
  • Thorough understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • PMP certification is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
