Job Overview: We are looking for skilled and driven individuals to join our team as Data Center Mission Critical Commissioning Agents (CxA) at varying experience levels. The primary role of the CxA is to oversee the commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems within data centers, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of performance and reliability. This position requires a profound understanding of mission-critical environments, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure scenarios.

Key Duties:

  • Perform commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
  • Create and implement thorough commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
  • Conduct site inspections, functional performance tests, and system verifications.
  • Analyze design documents, submittals, and equipment specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, engineers, and data center operators.
  • Identify and resolve issues concerning system performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Document findings and generate detailed commissioning reports.
  • Provide training and assistance to data center staff on system operations and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and offer technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in commissioning, design, or construction of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers or mission-critical settings.
  • Thorough knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, power generation, UPS systems, and control systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Proficiency in commissioning software and tools.
  • Certification as a Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), or similar is a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Levels of Experience:

  • Entry-Level: 0-2 years experience in commissioning or related fields, with a focus on mission-critical facilities.
  • Mid-Level: 3-7 years experience, showcasing project management skills and a solid grasp of data center systems.
  • Senior-Level: 8+ years experience, possessing extensive knowledge of intricate mission-critical systems and leadership background.
