Processing Tech Machine Operator

1st Shift 6AM-2:30PM Pay is $15 and will increase to $16 after you convert to full-time
2nd Shift 2PM-10:30PM Pay is $16 and will increase to $18 after you convert to full-time
3rd sift 10PM-6:30AM Pay is $16 and will increase to $19 after you convert to full-time

Must have high school diploma or GED.
2 years of experience preferred.

Processing Tech Machine Operator Duties:
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to calibrate and balance a scale and measure accurately.
  • Ability to calculate figures and add, subtract, and multiply.
  • Ability to accurately read fractions and understand measurements.
  • Must be able to lift 50-70lbs.
  • Operates mixers and dryers to produce chemicals.
  • Measure and load the machines with the correct weight of chemicals.
  • Operates machines and monitors temperatures so they can run safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper heating and cooling of the machine before, during, and after processing.
  • Maintain machines to make sure it is clean and in good working order.
  • Operates sit-down forklift safely.

Processing Tech Machine Operator Responsibilities:
  • Make sure you have read the MSDS on all chemicals used and processed.
  • Ensure you have the correct formula card to balance mixtures correctly.
  • Follow all policies and procedures in regard to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is required for the product/job.
  • Make sure the area is clean and free of debris.
  • Continuous improvement in areas of safety, professional development, and adhering to company policies.
  • Special projects as assigned.
