YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with and motivate individuals experiencing homelessness to strive for self-sufficiency.
- Assist homeless individuals in accessing social services and identifying resources to help them overcome homelessness.
- Develop tailored case plans and goals for each outreach opportunity.
- Establish and nurture relationships with community members and participate in outreach events.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of client information into the PRM database.
- Lead or engage in devotional activities and other organizational events that reflect a genuine Christian lifestyle.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Bachelor's degree in fields like Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Counseling, OR 4 years experience in case management, social work, or related areas - a blend of education and experience is also acceptable.
- Preferably certified in Peer Support.
- Knowledge of the challenges faced by the homeless population and familiarity with available resources.
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate calmness in stressful situations.
- Discretion in handling confidential client information.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated Christian faith and alignment with the values portrayed by Christ through actions.
