Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
  • Take and develop dental xrays
  • Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Dental Assisting
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment
  • Experience with medical documentation and recordkeeping
  • Familiarity with various dental procedures including prosthodontics and endodontics
  • Ability to operate dental xray equipment and perform dental imaging

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with dental systems for scheduling and billing
  • Previous experience in assisting with prosthodontic or endodontic procedures
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Dental Assistant to contribute to a positive patient experience and work alongside experienced dental professionals
