We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our valued clients.


As a Hair Salon Receptionist at Beautiful Freedom Natural Hair Studio, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they walk in.

You will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling appointments, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Greeting: Welcome clients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.

Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using our booking system, efficiently coordinating stylist schedules.

Customer Service: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about salon services, pricing, and promotions.

Point of Sale: Process payments, handle cash transactions, and manage the register accurately.

Salon Coordination: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area and ensure the overall salon environment is welcoming.

Product Sales: Promote and sell salon products, understanding client needs, and recommending appropriate products.

Client Records: Maintain and update client records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

Support Team: Assist stylists and other team members with administrative tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative environment.

Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any client concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with salon booking software or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fastpaced environment with a positive attitude.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic knowledge of hair and beauty products/services is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

$ $13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:
