Job Summary

Join us in supporting the Department and University's vision through coaching, mentoring, and leading the women's swimming & diving program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devote full attention to coaching the women's swimming & diving team.
  • Ensure compliance with University, NCAA, and conference policies.
  • Attract and enroll impactful student-athletes.
  • Foster academic excellence and team dynamics.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.
  • Manage budget projections and external engagements.
  • Oversee safety procedures, wellness programs, and facility management.
  • Attend conventions and serve on committees as required.
  • Represent the university professionally in various engagements.
  • Maintain discipline and adherence to regulations among student-athletes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of coaching experience in women's swimming & diving.
  • Certifications in CPR and first aid required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of coaching methods and athletics regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships within the athletic community.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of coaching experience at the Division I level.

Work Environment

This role involves various physical activities and a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
