Essential Functions Statement(s)
Manager must ensure that all company policies and rules as outlined in the Employee Handbook are followed at all times.
Manager must staff the location with properly trained personnel that have a positive attitude toward customers, fellow employees, and the company in general.
Manager must ensure that the store and forecourt are maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
Manager must keep the store stocked with product that has been authorized by the various department heads in the company and have all promoted product properly displayed each month so as to gain maximum sales and profits.
Manager must be sure all employees are practicing the customer service guidelines with all customers as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Manager and/or the Assistant must accurately complete the daily book work closeout, enter all necessary information into the back office system, balance the cash for the day, and make a bank deposit every day of the week.
Manager is responsible for the safety of all of his/her employees. It is their duty to ensure all employees and customers have a safe place to work and shop and to make sure all employees adhere to the safety guidelines as stated in the Employee Handbook.
Manager is fully responsible for security of their location. This will include all store funds, merchandise inventory, fuel inventory, and all store equipment and video systems. They must be sure all equipment is in proper working order and that any equipment malfunctions are listed in Helpdesk Pro immediately and assigned the correct priority level.
Manager is responsible for reviewing all controllable expense items listed on the P&L statement each month and to reduce those expenses where ever possible by working with their Supervisor and/or Director of Operations.
