Playing a key role in providing direct behavioral health patient care through various activities.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting patients in daily living tasks.
  • Administering direct patient care and treatments under RN supervision.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient behavior and activities, suggesting changes to treatment plans if needed.
  • Building rapport with patients to facilitate healing.
  • Participating in therapeutic group sessions and ensuring a conducive environment.
  • Maintaining vigilant supervision for patient safety.
  • Remaining alert and following safety protocols at all times.
  • Fulfilling any other assigned duties.

EDUCATION

  • Associate's degree in behavioral health or relevant experience and education

EXPERIENCE

  • No previous experience necessary

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Continuous standing and walking.
  • Regular use of hearing and speech for effective communication.
  • Regular lifting, pushing, and carrying objects within a certain weight range.
  • Regular use of vision to observe, identify, and recognize colors.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, and other physical movements.
  • Occasional lifting and transporting heavier objects.
  • Occasional driving may be required.
