Position Summary:


The Continuous Improvement Lead III plays a crucial role in driving the implementation of the CI program at the ICU Medical site in Austin. Collaborating with key stakeholders, this position focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing process and cost improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. The incumbent will lead transformational activities, facilitate workshops, and report key metrics to the global executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:


- Conduct Continuous Improvement workshops, data analysis, and identify cost improvement opportunities
- Lead and mentor colleagues on various lean tools and methodologies
- Achieve significant cost savings and deliver innovative solutions
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in transactional process improvements and project management
- Demonstrated experience in achieving cost savings in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline required; Master's Degree preferred
- Green Belt Certification required, Black Belt Certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in six sigma and project management, with lean experience preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Work in both office and production environments
- Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Minimal travel required
