Our most advanced radar systems are designed by our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team and we are looking for highly talented individuals, like yourself, with a passion for RADAR and Electronic Warfare.


We provide surface, air, and undersea solutions, including radar and surveillance systems, undersea combat systems, and surface combat systems and sensors.

This position is for an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for Army Radars Sub-Market Segment responsible for Q53 Development, Production, and/or

Sustainment.


Coordinates and ensures the successful execution of the technical, cost, and schedule efforts across projects in a development, production, and or sustainment environment.


Seeks opportunities to augment LM IRAD with CRAD, and shapes those efforts such that they develop the technology/designs needed to win new production franchises.

Supports winning new opportunities through customer engagement and developing responses to RFIs and RFPs.

Architects solutions such that they can be leveraged across multiple opportunities that span LOB boundaries.

Fosters and promotes a digital transformation mindset to seek and implement process optimization.

The Engineering Project Manager will work with Engineering leadership to ensure that the programs are staffed effectively and be responsible for managing risk and opportunities across their program areas.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Candidate must have had previous lead experience in systems, software, hardware, or engineering experience in development, integration, production, or sustainment
  • Experience in life cycle management of large systems, software, network control, hardware, and Model-Based Systems
  • Experienced working in a matrixed organization to accomplish tasks
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, requires US citizenship

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum 10+ years of technical experience in complex systems development/integration (i.e radar systems experience)
  • Prior Program roles in the hardware, software, or system design, performance requirements definition, integration, production, and/or sustainment of sensor systems
  • Strategic and forward thinker with a can-do attitude
  • Engineering Program Manager experience leading integrated technical teams
  • Experience with resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams
  • Experience generating Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support; knowledge of the Engineering & Technology Cost Estimating process
  • Experience in Risk Management principles and Cost Savings initiatives
  • EVMS/CAM experience and or Certification
  • Well versed with engineering processes and product development
  • Ability to mentor and influence engineers of all levels
  • Experience communicating program challenges/status to stakeholders

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.


These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $123,500

- $236,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees:

accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $142,100

- $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
