:General Information:
HR Business Partners perform a specialized type of HR work focused on HR consulting to the business including but not limited to: HR consulting and coaching (e.g., working with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues, provides expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc.). Enabling business change (e.g., supporting the talent aspects of organization structure changes, talent integration related to mergers & acquisitions, etc.). HR program advocacy (e.g., communicating the business value of HR initiatives, managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption, etc.). Partnering with the business and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning, etc.) An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
Your Responsibilities:
Percentage of Job Duties HRBP Duties: 25% Become fully integrated HRBP for growing Field Service group. Recruiting:15 % Spearhead the hourly non-exempt recruiting to include. Recruiting events at local HS and technical school) and job fairs. Onboarding new non-exempt hourly hires. Hourly Training 10%: Create detailed training matrix in coordination with operations. Employee Programs 20%: Champion, coordinate, and lead, with assistance, local Diversity 360 events. Administer Nonexempt recognition program. Track recognition and service award activity to include Quality Awards. Leader site yearly event planning to include all employee events. Kronos and Payroll Duties 10%: Kronos administration of hourly union non-exempt employee payroll. Tracking of Union non-exempt employee pay progression per the CBA. Tracking of Union bidding process to ensure timely and expedient movement. Research and investigation 10%: Research/escalate issue for MyHR for to expedite resolution. Communications 10%: Daily – VIP guest coordination. Weekly – Prepare and coordinate weekly site visitors. Monthly – Newsletter of Events. Recommended 5-10 years in HR with similar experience and a bachelors degree in related field.
