Electrical Systems Engineer

Join our team at Jordan We are looking for a System Engineer to be part of our Thermal Management Systems development team. As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in coordinating system level requirements and activities amongst technical sub teams, starting from the project acquisition phase and ending with the production release of the product.

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • * Asses and translate customer requirements into project specifications and milestones
  • * Coordinate development work of the system and support timely decisions within technical teams
  • * Report progress and risks to the core team
  • * Discuss technical matters with customers and stakeholders directly
  • * Initiate and adhere to change management procedures
  • * Contribute to system/product Design-FMEA
  • * Support validation testing and part evaluation
  • * Execute risk analysis and develop mitigation plans
  • * Provide input for cost, timing, and quality gap analysis
  • * Support continuous improvement activities
  • * Coordinate activities related to functional safety
  • * Contribute to technical specifications generation
  • * Support other business units/regions with effective communication

Qualifications:

  • * Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
  • * Minimum 2 years of systems engineering or electrical engineering experience in automotive industry is required; 5+ years preferred
  • * Demonstrated knowledge of electronic circuits and components
  • * Experience with mechatronic components is a plus
  • * Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and tools desired
  • * Experience with EMC-design and testing preferred
  • * Understanding of refrigerant circuits and components is a plus
  • * Proven planning abilities
