Distinguishing Features of the Position (Summary)
As a Case Management Engineer, you will be tasked with performing various engineering responsibilities including design, construction management, inspection, and environmental activities. You will work under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer, collaborating with local authorities, contractors, and private entities.

Essential Functions
As a Case Management Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating design schematics and engineering calculations
  • Conducting on-site engineering reviews and providing technical support
  • Meeting with stakeholders to address traffic issues
  • Performing planning, design, and evaluation activities
  • Assisting employees, managers, and other parties with development functions
  • Preparing department documents and reviewing project designs

Additional Functions
In addition to the essential functions, you may be required to perform other related duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for the role of Case Management Engineer, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering License
  • Certified Floodplain Manager certification
  • Four years of engineering experience
  • Valid Driver's License

ADA Compliance
Physical Ability: Tasks require medium physical effort involving lifting, carrying, and other activities. You may also need to balance, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks involve perceiving sounds and visual cues, as well as oral communication.
Environmental Factors: You will work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to damp/wet surfaces, fumes, and high noise levels.
This is not a Civil Service covered position.
