As a Configuration Manager, you will play a crucial role in the TACMOR Network Services program, overseeing the installation and maintenance of infrastructure and networks globally. Your responsibilities will include ensuring system integrity and information security for various user groups within the United States and overseas. Working alongside a team, you will enhance existing information systems, provide technical support for system improvements, software installations, testing, and deployments.

This position offers a flexible telework schedule; however, candidates must be local to Warner Robins for this role.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading configuration and data management throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Managing configuration items such as hardware and software.
  • Establishing and maintaining a Configuration Management process.
  • Overseeing configuration control of all program documentation.
  • Managing shared folders, SharePoint libraries, and Teams folders.
  • Tracking and delivering CDRLs and work products.
  • Providing leadership to configuration managers within the team.
  • Scheduling configuration control boards and change advisory boards.
  • Developing configuration management plans and parts lists.
  • Establishing a program collaboration space and ticketing system.
  • Conducting configuration audits and status accounting audits.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or 12 years of experience without a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
  • Experience with DoD configuration management policies.
  • Experience with configuration management for weapon systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ability to diagnose complex system problems and provide solutions.
  • Participation in cross-functional planning and coordination.
  • Willingness to travel for program requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
