Your Role as Regional Facilities Manager:

As the Regional Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and technical expertise to a dedicated team of facility engineers. Your team is spread across five Neiman Marcus store locations in Florida, and the Southeast Service Center, also based in Florida. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular facility audits, overseeing proper maintenance of properties, and ensuring projects meet the high standards set by Neiman Marcus. You'll be based in SE Florida and will make frequent visits to the Southeast Service Center in Miramar, Florida, as well as Neiman Marcus stores throughout the state.

In addition, you will be instrumental in nurturing partner relationships, both internally and externally, while effectively addressing support requests of varying urgency. Advocating for NMG's 'Way of Working,' a framework designed to foster smarter work practices and harmonize personal and professional life balance, will also be part of your key responsibilities under the guidance of the Director of Facilities.

What You'll be Responsible for:

  • Developing long and short-term plans for capital improvements at designated locations.
  • Overseeing all capital projects at assigned locations.
  • Managing contracts, purchase orders, and progress payments.
  • Supervising a team of store engineers and technicians to meet set goals.
  • Ensuring completion of all facility tasks within set timeframes and standards.
  • Promoting collaboration between site engineers and store leadership.
  • Ensuring budget compliance and contributing to budget creation.
  • Offering technical support to store engineers for efficient issue resolution.
  • Managing national maintenance and inspection contracts for designated locations.
  • Traveling to remote sites on a quarterly basis.

Your Qualifications:

  • Relevant training and certifications in MEP systems and building trades.
  • Preferably, possess a Property Management certification.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain high standards at Neiman Marcus Stores.
  • Flexibility for travel and availability for after-hours and emergency calls.
  • Proven prowess in fostering collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities with a knack for meeting deadlines.
  • Highly organized with the capability to successfully manage multiple locations, including remote facilities.
