Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide leadership on complex projects, proactively identify, communicate, and solve problems; set project goals based on objectives assigned by internal management or client.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to recommend methods for achieving desired results; translate client requirements into operational instructions; provide time and resource estimates; prepare schedule analysis reports for internal and external use.
  • Design, document, and implement new processes and procedures leveraging industry knowledge and experience to reduce costs, gain efficiencies, minimize risks, and accelerate time to market through automation and continuous improvement; make recommendations for process enhancements; track and document all improvements; ensure functional and quality plans are in place for projects.
  • Conduct project meetings to discuss plans, deadlines, issues, and new work; set priorities and allocate resources effectively; ensure backup and succession plans are established; evaluate work group productivity using metrics; supervise employees assigned to projects; discuss career goals, training needs, and work-related matters with team members.
  • Collaborate with management to establish standard operating procedures; ensure the team adheres to procedures and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate tasks across work groups; engage in client calls and meetings for projects and initiatives; lead meetings and discussions; escalate issues requiring senior attention; communicate project status and escalate achievements to management.
  • Oversee the implementation of strategic goals; review and monitor goal progress with management; schedule regular team meetings.
  • Participate in continuous training for personal and professional development; coordinate staff training; lead operational training development and delivery.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; a master's degree can substitute for one year of experience
  • Minimum six years of relevant experience in project planning and management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present issues and interact within a team environment
  • Experience with multiple platforms and technologies
  • Proficiency in PC software, email, relational databases, and query skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Resource management skills to identify and fulfill project needs
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to break down problems, document resolution plans, and implement solutions with validation metrics
  • Comprehensive understanding of business requirements, data, and processes
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and flexible; motivated to succeed
  • Skilled in bridging diverse business areas
  • Leads by example and collaborates effectively across all levels
