As an Expo Food Runner, you play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the customers' tables.

Your primary responsibility is to act as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the serving staff, ensuring that each dish is prepared correctly and delivered promptly to the appropriate table.

You are responsible for maintaining communication between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff to guarantee smooth service and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Kitchen Staff: Communicate effectively with chefs and line cooks to ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

Quality Control: Inspect each dish before it leaves the kitchen to ensure that it meets the restaurant's quality standards and matches the customer's order.

Organize Orders: Arrange completed dishes on trays or plates according to table numbers or seating arrangements to facilitate efficient delivery.

Timing Management: Manage the timing of orders, ensuring that food items are ready for service at the appropriate times to maintain a steady flow of service.

Expedite Service: Expedite the delivery of food to tables, coordinating with servers to ensure that each order reaches the correct customer promptly.

Address Customer Needs: Respond promptly to any special requests or modifications to orders communicated by customers or servers.

Assist Servers: Support servers by replenishing supplies, such as condiments or utensils, as needed during service.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep expo stations clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the kitchen and serving staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.

Problem Solving: Address any issues or discrepancies with orders promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management or kitchen staff as necessary.

Requirements:
