Call Center Rep

An employer is looking for a Patient Access Representative within a call center environment in the Beverly Hills, CA area.
This person will be responsible for handling about 50+ calls per day for multiple primary care/internal medicine offices across Southern California.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:answering phones, triaging patients, providing directions/parking instructions, contacting clinic facility to notify if a patient is running late, scheduling and rescheduling patients' appointments, verifying insurances, and assisting with referrals/follow up care.
This position is fully on-site until fully trained and passing multiple assessments (typically around 3 months of working - depending on performance) where it can then go remote.

Required Skills & Experience
- HS Diploma
- 1+ years call center experience (with an average time of 5 minutes or less on calls)
- Proficient in Epic software
- 2+ years experience scheduling patient appointments for multiple physicians
- 45+ WPM typing speed
- Experience verifying insurances
- Basic experience with Excel and standard workbooks
- Experience working at a large healthcare system
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
