Position Description

  • The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Pediatric Radiology Division at Seattle Children's Hospital.
  • Clinical responsibilities include patient care in various imaging modalities such as nuclear medicine, PET/CT, computed tomography, diagnostic radiology, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound.
  • Additional responsibilities involve teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, contribution to clinical conferences, quality assurance, research activities, and administrative duties.
  • Faculty members at UW are actively engaged in teaching, research, and service.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. in medicine, full medical licensure in Washington State, certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM), and completion of related fellowships.
  • A strong academic background with evidence of scientific presentations and publications is required.
