Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the tax department, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on complex tax matters
  • Stay uptodate with changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance at all times
  • Lead a team of tax professionals and provide mentorship and training
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth

Position Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Develop and implement innovative tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve complex tax issues and provide appropriate solutions
  • Review and approve tax returns, financial statements, and other taxrelated documents
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in tax management

Position Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax management
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding leadership and communication abilities
The position requires related experience working in external relationship management
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
