As a Multi-Asset Class Senior Portfolio Specialist within the PNC Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Philadelphia, PA or Washington, DC.This position is primarily based in a PNC location.

Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at managers discretion.

As a member of the Portfolio Strategy team, you will be focused on developing multi-manager, multi-asset class model portfolios that sit at the core of the AMG Investment Offices guidance for our clients.

You will conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative analyses, partnering with our investment strategy, manager due diligence, trading implementation, and risk management teams, to deliver portfolio recommendations that maximize risk-adjusted returns for a variety of client situations.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed performance and attribution, exposure, and risk reports that are presented to the Investment Policy Committee and client-facing investment advisors.

Prior experience with multi-manager, multi-asset class investing either as a research analyst or client-facing advisor along with strong quantitative capabilities, including systems like Excel with macros, Morningstar Direct, and FactSet are key to success in this role.

Experience with Python is also a plus.

Job DescriptionDevelops and directs analysis, due diligence research, monitoring and analytical activities for a variety of complex investment portfolio disciplines.

Serves as subject matter and technical resource for assigned area of responsibility for the platform and/or portfolios. May provide platform analysis via interviews and presentations to internal and external clients.
Develops, establishes and maintains a high quality due diligence and/or portfolio analysis process. Responsible for the monitoring and selection of managers within the assigned coverage area for the platform and/or portfolios. Adheres to and assists in developing internal processes.

Provides direction to team members to ensure appropriate investment managers are reviewed, selected for the platform and/or portfolios and monitored.

Coaches and provides guidance for team members.

Helps to research standard and acts as a resource for more junior members of team for guidance on depth and quality of research.

Provides ongoing internal client support to managers and/or portfolios in assigned coverage. May provide external client support for retention and addition of assets under management.
Produces written documents outlining investment managers' organizational structure as well as their investment process. Authors final reports that are presented to Investment Advisor Research. Updates manager profiles and is responsible for quarterly reporting.
