This position oversees and directs the management of the company's managed care contracts and relationships with private payors including Medicaid and Medicare Advantage payors.
They are responsible for implementing Managed Care contracts set by Senior leadership. This position is responsible for managing, Managed Care contracts, and assisting the billing team members daily.The position ensures coordination and cooperation of managed care areas, including credentialing for in-network providers and compiling reports for Senior leadership.
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee the negotiation and implementation of assigned managed care contracts. Participate in and lead rate negotiations for all assigned managed care payors.
Keep abreast of the current happenings with each assigned managed care payor and the managed care market as a whole.
Must be experienced with credentialing, payor networks, rate negotiations, and spreadsheet reporting. Dialysis billing experience is a plus.Travel 25% between offices as needed
