Senior Recruiter

The senior recruiter is responsible for the recruiting of TSPMG clinicians and administrative employees.

Responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates, effectively communicating the value of the Southeast Permanente Medical Group, our unique care model, and the position, escorting candidates through interview schedule, addressing questions and concerns to obtain commitments, negotiating contracts and any other details pertaining to the essential functions of full cycle recruitment.

1.

Facilitates full cycle recruitment to include:
Initiating and tracking position requisition authorization requests.
Sourcing candidates through direct mail campaigns, advertising, and other methods as appropriate. This includes writing, drafting, and proofing text for ads and direct mail pieces.
Identifying prospective candidates in accordance with established guidelines and in conjunction with departmental goals.

Conducting pre-screening of qualified candidates, obtaining information regarding background, training, interest, motivation, and availability while also discussing the position available, the community, and TSMPG benefits.

Initiating appropriate recruitment correspondence, obtaining candidates' CVs, references, applications, and credentialing information to thoroughly qualify the candidate.
Reviewing qualified candidates with TSPMG chiefs of service and other clinical and administrative leaders to evaluate candidates to interview.

Explaining interview process to candidate including travel policies as well as reinforcing information about the group, position, and community, obtaining dates for interview, discussing timing for decision making, and addressing any of candidate's concerns about the interview.

Escorting candidates during interview day to ensure a smooth interview experience for all parties.

Initiating a post interview call to determine candidate's and group's interest level, address problems or obstacles in making a decision, developing a solution, and determining the next step in the recruitment process.

Identifying and resolving candidates' concerns and objections regarding the position, group or community and other areas as required.
Making offer to candidates and continuing communication with candidates and group to manage the completion of the decision-making process.

Maintain candidate database by determining candidate's initial status, monitoring status to keep it current, and generating correspondence to each candidate; effectively use related recruitment technology and tools.

Orchestrate TSPMG recruitment events such as career planning dinners, open houses, and community dinners; develop agenda for anticipated audience, advertise the event, ensure attendance of key TSPMG representatives.

Participate in industry-related conferences and events to support candidate sourcing and pipeline development; work requires occasional evenings and weekends.

4.

Maintain close, effective, working relationship with department chiefs and other clinical and administrative leaders. Serve as a key representative of the department for TSPMG, other regions, and the community. Manage varied nuances of physician recruiting needs.

5.

Provides data and maintains recruitment reports and dashboards as needed.

6.

Work closely with and monitor work of recruitment specialist to ensure effective support of recruitment process.

7.

Stays abreast on TSPMG's competitive position in the marketplace and shares information with leadership as appropriate.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the recruitment industry, physician interest, TSPMG policies, procedures, and the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care model.

9 . Ensures confidentiality of all recruitment information at all times.

Minimum Education

BS or BA in marketing, business, or related field
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

Six or more years direct experience in the recruitment field. If recruiting for clinicians, applicable experience is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of the physician and admin recruitment field, the health care industry, and human resources.
Proficient in using related candidate sourcing and tracking technology
Demonstrated ability to meet individual and organizational recruitment metrics & goals
Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications

Marketing or sales experience preferred.
Certified Medical Staff Recruiter preferred
