About the Role:

The Patient Care Coordinator, also known as the Treatment Coordinator, plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring optimal clinical results, and addressing the requirements of our patients.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver premium customer service to patients, referring offices, and team members through various communication channels.
  • Update and manage patient insurance details.
  • Organize the doctor's schedule for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to enhance the patient experience.
  • Meet deadlines and manage tasks according to the patient schedule.
  • Handle patient payments tactfully and professionally.
  • Comprehend doctor's treatment plans and create necessary action plans.
  • Effectively communicate treatment alternatives and associated expenses to patients.
  • Maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • One year of customer service experience is essential.
  • Previous medical or dental background is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
  • Basic office competencies like typing and filing.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Leadership qualities and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
