This company is currently looking for Manufacturing Team Leaders to oversee and coordinate the activities of associates involved in the production of automotive goods. Prior experience in supervising manufacturing processes is a must for this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervising Manufacturing Associates on production lines
  • Minimizing overtime
  • Training, Assigning, and Directing employees
  • Completing Performance Appraisals
  • Enforcing disciplinary actions following Company Policy
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Supporting associates in executing daily tasks as per standard work instructions
  • Reporting all quality issues to the Area Production Manager
  • Maintaining 5S standards
  • Inspecting parts and products for compliance with specifications
  • Guiding associates in adjusting machinery to address product quality concerns
  • Developing, suggesting, and implementing strategies to enhance production methods, equipment effectiveness, and product quality
  • Identifying opportunities to boost efficiency through modifications in working conditions and equipment utilization
  • Establishing and managing the cross-training of associates to keep track of progress records
  • Creating Detail Process Sheets and Failure Mode Effect Analysis
  • Supervising associates and processes to meet requirements effectively while reporting to plant management
  • Ensuring adherence to all RCRA guidelines for hazardous waste management
  • Maintaining SQDCME boards
  • Meeting all TPM Goals
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 Years of Manufacturing Supervisory Experience
  • Experience in a Continuous Improvement Environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Associate Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Ability to Lift 50 pounds
  • Drug Test
  • Minimum age of 18 years
