About the Role

Dexis is looking for a Program Assistant to support the Office of the Chief Economist (OCE) in a dynamic environment where operational excellence is key. As a part of the OCE team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders at USAID, contributing to the enhancement of global engagement through economic theory and evidence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a champion for effective knowledge, document, and operational data management.
  • Support budget preparation and execution within OCE.
  • Assist in OCE staffing processes.
  • Manage the clearance process for OCE documents.
  • Handle internal and external communications for OCE.
  • Facilitate acceptance of gifts and organize intra-agency meetings.
  • Maintain OCE listservs and develop standard operating procedures.
  • Stay updated on USAID policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Enthusiasm for operational excellence and attention to detail.
  • Skills in budget formulation, problem-solving, and multitasking.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet management and data analysis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Facilities Access Clearance (FAC).

Preferred:

  • Interest in global development, evidence-based policymaking, or economics.
  • Active FAC or Secret-level Clearance.
