Staff Accountant:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accrual accounting and proficiency in Excel. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure their accuracy.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Accrual accounting knowledge
  • Strong Excel skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
