As a Material Handler, your primary role involves managing product movement, cleaning, stacking, and inventory counting within a dynamic, non-climate controlled environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or GEDBasic math skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shiftsPrior construction experience (preferred)
Forklift certification (preferred)Willingness to undergo pre-employment screeningResponsibilities:
Your daily tasks will include order fulfillment, inventory management, and meticulous attention to detail in picking and packaging. You'll navigate a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment are vital for success in this role.
Your ability to adapt to changing environments, tolerate varying warehouse conditions, and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, is crucial.
Job Type and Location:
This is a full-time position offering competitive starting pay, usually around $15/hr. The job entails 8 to 12 hour shifts in Port Allen, LA. We seek individuals willing to commute reliably to this location.
