Baton Rouge, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our client’s team. Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium baseball and softball equipment. With a commitment to quality and innovation, our client has become a trusted name in the sports industry, providing athletes with top-notch products. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our client’s distribution center. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for various tasks related to the receiving, processing, packing, and shipping of high-quality sports equipment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Duties:

This position is responsible for picking and packing orders for shipping, replenishing, marking, and sorting.

  • Assemble customer orders from stock
  • Place orders on carts, pallets or shelves. Material Handlers use carts and pallet-handling equipment to transport products and materials.
  • Bring orders to a holding area or shipping department.
  • Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate methods.  A recent example was re-stickering bats.
  • Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

Requirements/Skills:

  •  High School Diploma or equivalent.
  •  Prior experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
  •  Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
  •  Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  •  Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Previous Warehouse experience required.  Familiarity with inventory, order-filling technology, and handheld RF units is preferred.
