Job Description:


5 years' experience is recommended but not required if candidates prove strong, L3 team would be the face to application partners from Infrastructure perspective acts as an interface between stakeholders such as Application Prod support Database Middleware DC L2 Team.

Document and maintain the validation process for installs, document and maintain the validation process for upgrades.
Interact coordinate with Client Network Storage Data Center teams for new server builds.

Responsible for OS Upgrades in Place DEV UAT COB PRD environments, responsible for OS Upgrades Build Swing DEV UAT COB PRD environments.

Perform OS checkout post build upgrade ensure application health status by co ordinating with respective application Prod Support team.
Remediate compliance issues DEV UAT COB PROD, provide architecture and design reviews for the client app teams.

Third party vendor coordination where applicable, responsible for capacity monitoring analysis forecasting of resources and ensure to have adequate resources for infra-application stability.

Perform Root Cause Analysis from SA perspective for all issues, responsible for performance tuning from Infrastructure perspective.
Assisting app team with application performance tuning, design COB architecture and implementation

Document and maintain COB Test procedure, Flip OS from prod to cob and configure all tools processes to run against COB.

Diagnose fix cob resync issues, assist support Application COB testing, onboarding installing new applications based on the client app team requirement, enhancements upgrade to existing apps – Based on client requirement.

Coordinate Apply VTM patches for complex environment as per client, provide justification to FIM ESM Events of L3 SA performed activities, Inventory Sync Reconciliation activities.

Participating Major Incident calls on time ensure timely recovery of the services to clients.

Responsible for effort reduction activities by preparing scripts for the repeated s false positive Duplicate Nonvalue add rudimentary activities, installation Upgradation Configuration Maintenance Patch Package management and Troubleshooting of the Operating systems and services.

File system creation maintenance includes Volume group creation File system creation extension Logical Volumes.
Supporting high availability fail over fallback using Cluster Server using native third-party tools.
Hardware Maintenance and coordinating with Vendors like Microsoft HP Redhat Oracle Symantec and IBM
Monitoring System Performance of Virtual memory Managing Swap Space Disk utilization and CPU utilization.

Hardware replacement including Battery DIMM Hard Disk System Board Power supply Fan and HBA Card in coordination with L1 L2 DC Team.

Implementing SSH Tectia key for password less connectivity, troubleshooting system and handling network issues.
Managing file system like monitoring sizes resolving inconsistencies, scheduling tasks using client approved tools based on requirement.

Backup and restore using Veritas NetBackup, managing file folder integrity by applying necessary security permission to users and directories, High-level assistance provided for projects such as host DC migration SAN migration subnet migration DC power down etc.

in coordination with other infrastructure management teams.

Scheduling and conducting BCP tests to ensure seamless production at times of disaster, document process and preparation of run books, perform change reviews and approvals and participate in Change advisory meetings when required.

Handling Pre patching and post patching failures issues on critical servers, test the packages released by CATE and do bulk EOVS package upgrades and GEM remediations on all the supported servers.
