Essential Functions

Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards.
Qualified/Certified to operate all HVAC equipment, Chillers, Pumps, Generators, Boilers, UPS systems and Electrical equipment.
Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks as assigned.
Must be willing to learn and master new skills and techniques.
Detailed oriented as to provide electronic records of equipment status, issues found and the subsequent communication with the team/management.

You will be responsible for working with both internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations and failure investigations.

You could work in a variety of engineering departments based on current needs.
Work at other local facilities to assist other team members or cross train.
Ability to work in critical areas while understanding the nuances associated with a Data Center

Responsibilities

Performing technical repairs to Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Mechanical systems.
Provides engineering support for a wide range of teams, maintenance programs, and project managers.

Must be able to understand, analyze and seek solutions to the operation, maintenance, performance or repair of equipment and their components.

Should be able to logically approach problem solving.
Vendor management and the ability to develop a scope of work for a quote.
Writing Method of Procedures for standard operations of equipment or minor repairs.

Organizes and manages the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplishes the work process to meet all deliverable for projects as well as maintenance program changes and technical specification revisions.

Coordinates work with other operational groups to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Data center knowledge is recommended.
High-level HVAC skills or high-level Electrical skills required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building operations or Maintenance trade.
State license to operate and maintain all HVAC equipment and pressure vessels.
Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
Ability to perform detailed technical procedural writing.
