Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our team and ensure completed jobs are prepared and shipped accurately to our customers. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for various tasks such as scanning trays, wrapping finished jobs, sorting by account number, and labeling boxes for shipping.



Essential Duties:
  • Wrap completed jobs in plastic bags or envelopes following job procedures (40%)
  • Sort wrapped jobs numerically and match to the appropriate account box (20%)
  • Scan trays into the computer to create invoices and match numerically (20%)
  • Pack and close boxes, prepare for shipping with correct labels (10%)
  • Retrieve completed job trays and return to designated area


Other Duties:
  • Fold and prepare mailing boxes
  • Create and re-print labels as necessary
  • Utilize postage machine for First Class Mail
  • Assist in other shipping department tasks as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area


Physical Demands:
  • Lift and move objects up to 20 lbs frequently
  • Stand/walk throughout the shift
  • Occasionally stoop, climb, or balance
  • Use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, and bilateral reach
  • Require close vision and color vision


Work Environment:

Fast-paced production environment, work collaboratively with others, moderate noise level



Safety and Ergonomic Requirements:
  • Practice safe work practices and report any unsafe conditions
  • Wear appropriate PPE in the laboratory
  • Participate in safety trainings and ergonomic stretches
  • Adhere to dress code and safety requirements


Qualification Requirements:
  • High School education or equivalent preferred
  • Basic math skills and ability to add and subtract
  • Good multi-tasking and decision-making abilities
  • Basic computer skills
