CESA 5 is seeking a full-time project assistant to assist with duties within the School Improvement Services (Curriculum & Instruction) department.

The Project Assistant serves as one of the Department Director's assistants, oversees the department's daily office-related operations, and provides clerical/program assistant-type support for designated staff.

Experience in graphic design and marketing is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all purchases of supplies and equipment for the Department/Project in conjunction with the Executive Assistant or other related staff.
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings as directed by the Department/Project Director.
  • Completes routine paperwork and reporting as directed by the Department/Project Director.
  • Processes registrations, invoices, and other related paperwork as directed by the Department/Project Director.
  • Attends trainings to perform designated tasks as directed by the Department/Project Director.
  • Maintains records, directories, and other related documentation as directed by the Department/Project Director.
  • Gathers information, assembles, and produces reports and other documentation as directed by the Department/Project Director.
  • Submits information for the monthly newsletter in conjunction with Department staff.
  • Ensures meeting spaces are set up appropriately for meetings and events, coordinates food and beverages for participants, and cleans up as necessary following the meeting/event.
  • Serves as a backup for tasks completed by other project assistants as directed by the Agency.
  • Provides clerical support to various projects as directed by the Department/Project Director.

Qualifications:

  • Possesses high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate current office technology and machines. Knowledge of Google Suite is a plus.
  • Knowledge of current office procedures, techniques, and terminology.
  • Ability to process data accurately at an aboveaverage pace on various computer platforms and software.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff.

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
