Overview

The main responsibility of the Quality Assurance Supervisor is to work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards at the FFIC organization. Nature of Position

This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and involves providing support for product issues, supplier matters, customer complaints, product development, and continuous improvement at the site. Responsibilities include managing quality assurance activities, addressing non-conforming materials, conducting batch reviews, and supporting day-to-day operations.

  • Daily clearance of raw material and finished goods
  • Quality assurance of products, including batch review and product issues
  • Problem-solving and special projects
  • Supporting customer complaint investigations
  • Leading supplier audit program
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects

The role requires direct interaction with various departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality-related issues and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities and Results Expected

  • Responsible for day-to-day QA operations, including final product/raw material clearance and batch review investigations
  • Supervising team priorities and supporting batch reviews for failed products
  • Conducting auditing responsibilities and supplier audits
  • Managing special projects, cost-saving initiatives, and new product introductions
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects and environmental health and safety initiatives

Know-How

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, ideally with 3-4 years of quality experience or relevant Ink Jet expertise. Supervisor experience is advantageous. Proficiency in ISO standards, GMP, statistical analysis, project management, and problem-solving is essential. Knowledge of chemical processes, ink formulation, and color chemistry is valued.
