Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
  • California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills
  • Familiar with IEPs

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in conducting patient evaluations and assessments
  • Implement treatment plans developed by Speech Language Pathologists to address patients' goals and needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and activities to improve patients' functional munication skills
  • Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outes
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatment
  • Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
