Key Responsibilities

As a Catholic Clinical Pastoral Educator, your role involves supervising professional chaplains, conducting needs assessments, developing educational strategies, and implementing appropriate curricula for our Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program. A portion of your time will be dedicated to overseeing the chaplains under the Market Director of Mission Integration.

Your duties will include:
- Contributing to the development of CPE programs
- Delivering educational programs to meet the needs of participants and the spiritual care needs of patients, families, and staff
- Evaluating educational and clinical effectiveness and making necessary adjustments
- Collaborating in the supervision of staff chaplains and volunteers in Spiritual Care Services
- Promoting employee engagement and ensuring appropriate staffing practices
- Nurturing the Sacramental life of patients and healthcare workers
- Fulfilling other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Master's Degree required for Chaplain Board Certification
- Affiliation with the Roman Catholic Church

- Certification as a CPE Supervisor from a reputable certifying body such as the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC)
