About the Role
The role of Manufacturing Engineer II is pivotal within our manufacturing engineering division, focusing on Electrical Engineering tasks. Under supervision, you will be responsible for supporting all electrical engineering activities within the Industrial Electronics Manufacturing sector. Your main duties will include creating, testing, and validating test fixtures and systems. Proficiency in C++ programming is crucial for this position along with troubleshooting test failures and optimizing testing processes. Additionally, you will actively contribute to new product design teams, playing a key role in determining the necessary test equipment and fixtures needed for new product testing while collaborating with a team and working independently when required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve issues with manufacturing test equipment, fixtures, or products that do not meet production standards
  • Devise and implement test fixtures or equipment to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with manufacturing staff to refine shop floor processes
  • Assist in cost estimations and labor calculations
  • Act as a backup machine operator on the manufacturing floor
  • Support daily manufacturing testing operations as requested
  • Adhere to ISO specifications
  • Create general manufacturing/testing/electrical schematic drawings using AutoCAD or similar software
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 (+) years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and create Engineering drawings to company standards
  • Experience with C++ in a Manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of 2D Drawings and 3D Modeling
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and electrical testing methods
  • Understanding of corporate and industry regulations
