This opportunity is for a skilled Civil Estimator to join a dynamic team in Lone Tree, CO. The role will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of civil construction projects, requiring expertise in construction and project management, with a focus on estimating using tools like InEight, Blue Beam, Accubid, and advanced Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of relevant experience, and prior project engineer experience is a bonus.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for projects or project components
  2. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals for estimating time, cost, and labor
  3. Utilizing specialized software for optimal estimating and project management
  4. Assisting in proposal preparation and client interactions
  5. Evaluating cost effectiveness and tracking expenses against bids
  6. Consulting with stakeholders to develop accurate estimates and address issues
  7. Conducting studies for cost data and efficiency improvements
  8. Reviewing material and labor requirements for cost-effective decisions
  9. Collaborating with project management to ensure project alignment with budget

Qualifications:

  1. At least eight years of experience in civil construction estimating
  2. Proficiency in Blue Beam, Accubid, and advanced Excel
  3. Sound knowledge of construction and project management principles
  4. Strong analytical and numerical abilities
  5. Effective communication and presentation skills
  6. Capacity to work independently and within a team
  7. Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
  8. Managing multiple projects effectively with timely estimates
  9. Experience with InEight software considered a plus
