1. Develop and maintain Enterprise Data Management and Governance policies, standards, and processes. Create and implement processes and procedures to support data standards and control frameworks.
2. Provide subject matter expertise in the planning and execution of data management activities such as data sourcing, metadata management, data quality, data privacy or records management.
3. Supports solution design and execution of multi-pronged data governance efforts that span across platforms and business/technology areas to address enterprise data needs.
4. Implement strategic data governance capabilities by working with business, technology, and control partners to document requirements and create action plans.
5. Perform oversight and inspection of critical data management practices for adherence to established data policies and control frameworks.
6. Identify data issues and work with technology, risk and business partners to triage, track, communicate, mitigate and remediate the issues to closure.
7. Support the production of metrics and measures to track progress and adherence, escalating as needed to appropriate subject matter experts for visibility and program accountability.
8. Understand and integrate relevant regulations and industry trends into work plans, exploring emerging frameworks and assessing feasibility using proof of concepts.
9. Collaborate closely with peer teams and control partners to ensure coordination, synergy and seamless overall execution.
10. Champion and drive improvement in

the adoption of enterprise data management practices throughout the organization.

11. Supports a multi-year roadmap outlining organizational strategy to promote transparency and alignment with stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field, eight years of experience in roles with increasing responsibilities in technology, data management, governance, risk or related practice or equivalent education and related training or experience

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Eight years of experience in roles with increasing responsibilities in technology, data management, governance, risk or related practice or equivalent education and related training or experience is critical to this role

2. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other graduate or advanced-level certification

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

4. Ability to drive alignment on technical policies and experience with standard writing responses to regulatory and exam requests

5. Knowledge of data management tools and platforms used for managing metadata, data lineage, data quality, scanning, classification, and/or tagging

6. Data Governance and/or Data Management Certifications (e.g., Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), ICCP Certified Data Governance Professional, DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar certification)

7. Large program strategic planning/execution across multiple functions
8. History of effective performance within shared service, matrix or federated environments
9. Internal or external consulting experience
10. Working knowledge of any enterprise grade GRC platform (i.e., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream, IBM OpenPages, etc.)
11. Experience with formalized organizational DCAM assessment practices, including implementation of recommended improvements
